Dear CT,

What’re your best tips for packing light for a long trip?

Hi Gabrielle,

Thank you for your question!

The simplest way to reduce clutter is by using a small bag so you can’t overpack. While larger cases allow you to pack more, it also means you are more likely to fill it with unnecessary items. We recommend a medium suitcase but if you can fit everything in a carry-on, we highly encourage this as it is more compact and portable. While a smaller suitcase means fewer items if you pack a capsule wardrobe you can still mix and match lots of outfits for all occasions. Our final piece of advice is to use packing cells. Packing cells help organise your belongings to keep track of everything.
